The Bureau of Community Health System is looking for Rural Health Program Analyst. Salary is the equivalent to a pay grade 29, with a range from approximately $46,000 to $48,000
Minimum Qualifications: Four years of experience in rural health programming and educational work. Any combination of years of work experience plus education in health or public administration, a health care occupation, public policy, human services or a related field totaling four years may be substituted for the required experience.
This position will work closely with the Rural Health and Technology Coordinator and others to support the Director of Rural Health in carrying out work outlined in the federally-funded rural health grants (i.e. State Office of Rural Health and Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility grant). We are looking for an individual who can work independently on projects and work well in small team environment.
In addition to coordination of rural health activities, the State Office of Rural Health is responsible for collecting and disseminating information as well as providing technical assistance to rural providers and communities, including but not limited to rural hospitals, public health, primary care and rural health clinics, and EMS agencies.
This position will have a range of responsibilities from organizing webinars and developing on-line courses to needs assessment and data gathering. Individuals applying for this position must be able to demonstrate strong project development, implementation, and management skills as well as collaboration and communications abilities.
This position will be asked to design and implement various projects, with differing areas of focus. To succeed in this position, an individual should have strong adaptability skills, be a quick learner, and enjoy working on diverse portfolio of initiatives.
